Jessica Thompson's first book This is a Love Story was described by Closer as 'Reminiscent of One Day.' This second novel will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will keep you turning the page. They are just words but they mean so much.As a dark evening draws in, the lives of three women are changed forever. The worlds they have been living in, the people they thought they knew - in an instant it all changes. But when everything seems to shatter around them, could three little words be enough to help put the pieces back together again? Jessica Thompson's debut novel, This is a Love Story, received brilliant reviews on publication: 'Thompson's first novel is a triumph... What I really enjoyed was the way Thompson conveys the whole world of young, single London, the clothes, the music, the furnishings and the central, abiding love of the great city itself, full of excitement and potential. Infectious.' Daily Mail 'Reminiscent of One Day, this moving, quirky love story is sob-inducingly romantic.' 4* Closer

I Am God (and So Are You, My Friend): A Common Man’s Guide to Oneness is a book that presents itself at an extremely urgent time for our race (the human race). As the walls of separation, hatred, and divisiveness become more apparent with each passing day, it becomes obvious that traditional methods for peace have not worked. Oneness is the state of being completely united with one and all. It is our inherent nature that our society has grown away from due to many things, but mainly our ego. The only way back to living in peace is through the unity that oneness represents. This book explains how our society got to this boiling point of separation through our own collective consciousness (yes, our world is in this shape from our own doing). And the only way to reverse that current collective consciousness is through oneness. This book not only proves how we are connected at our very core but it also gives examples of how understanding oneness changes your life immediately, which in turn effects our world collectively.

URL: George Frederick Bristow (1825¿98), American composer, conductor, teacher, and performer, was a pillar of the New York musical community for the second half of the nineteenth century. His participation in an important mid-century battle-of-words (between William Henry Fry and the journalist Richard Storrs Willis and concerning a lack of support for American composers by the Philharmonic Society) has unfortunately overshadowed his accomplishments as a composer, which were significant. Bristow is remembered today primarily for his opera Rip van Winkle (1855) and oratorio Daniel (1866), but he was also a skillful and productive composer of orchestral music¿one of only a handful of American orchestral composers active at mid-century.Bristow wrote his Symphony no. 2 (Jullien) in 1853. It is a substantial work in four movements, scored for the standard orchestra of the early nineteenth century, and strongly influenced by the personal styles of Beethoven and Mendelssohn (whose works were performed regularly by the Philharmonic Society). The symphony is skillfully crafted, melodious, and an intrinsically worthy work of musical artistry. It was named to honor the French conductor Louis Jullien, who visited the United States in 1853¿54 with an unparalleled orchestra. While in the United States Jullien both commissioned and performed American works (including this symphony); his support served as the catalyst for the Fry/Willis battle. The introductory essay to this symphony examines Bristow¿s career, the composition of orchestral music in America at mid-century, and Jullien¿s role in the musical battle; the edition makes available for the first time an important work that has been undeservedly forgotten for over 150 years.
